Variation 1: The route can be shorten slightly by excluding the ascent to Mount Shlomo

Variation 2: One can exit the route at Nahal Shechoret to Campground Shechoret and from there hitchhike on the jeep route (Nahal Shechoret is a popular jeep route over the weekend during the season)

Advantages: Especially dramatic landscape. Technical route. A water tank is available for hikers mid-route in Nahal Shechoret

Disadvantages: Relatively a committed line. Public Transportation is not available
