Variation 1: The route can be shorten by exiting from Ein Akev north toward Nahal Tzin and from there west toward the Serpentines nightcamp which is under the starting point

Variation 2: Run the route in the opposite direction and then it also makes sense to stop by the Bedouin camp Kahn Akev toward the end

Advantages:  A flowing line and non technical. One can dip in Ein Akev. Public transportation is available

Disadvantages: Ein Akev can have many hikers. Running up Tzin Ascent is along a jeep road
